Yesterday I attended a Teatime Briefing and Q & A session with Michael Dell, Chairman and CEO of Dell, inc. This high profile event was organised by BCS Elite Group and was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, West London.
Michael provided us with his interesting views on several topics, including the challenges in the current Global Economy, Dell’s business model, Virtualisation, Cloud Computing, Green IT, and Social Networking. The video for this event is available at BCS Elite site.
One of the highlights of the event was in the Q & A session, when Michael was asked what would he do if he only have $1,000 to start today (Michael Dell founded Dell in 1984 with just $1,000). His answer was he would pack his bag and go to Shanghai to built his fortune there.

This video was taken by me on the boxing day (26th of December, 2008) at Stamford Bridge just before the English Premier League game between Chelsea and West Brom.
Blue Is the Colour is a football song associated with Chelsea Football Club. It was released in 1972 to coincide with the club’s appearance in the League Cup final of that year and performed by the squad. The record was issued on the Penny Farthing Records label and reached number 5 in the charts in March 1972.

I was at Stamford Bridge on Easter Monday to witness Chelsea’s victory (3 – 0) over Everton in an English Premier League match. The victory brought Chelsea a step closer to be a back-to-back Champion, something that had not happened before in Chelsea FC’s history. (Update: Chelsea became the Champion the following week after beating ManU with the same score.)
After the match, I was fortunate to meet the team, and had photo opportunities with some of them.
